Ele trata do estudo da luminesc\u00eancia do aluminato de b\u00e1rio dopado com o terra rara eur\u00f3pio, pois este material possui uma emiss\u00e3o na regi\u00e3o do vis\u00edvel, quando excitado em 245 nm de comprimento de onda. O objetivo de estudar este material est\u00e1 na sua aplica\u00e7\u00e3o em displays, cintiladores e demais equipamentos que apresentam propriedades luminescentes.
